The Western Pennsylvania Diversity Initiative (WPDI) is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to facilitating diversity by providing educational, networking, and other resources for employers and employees.
Our mission is to promote regional economic growth by providing resources to employers in the Pittsburgh region to attract, hire, and retain employees from a variety of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
WPDI Diversity and Inclusiveness Conference
SAVE THE DATE! The Western Pennsylvania Diveristy Initiative will hold its first full-day Diversity and Inclusiveness Conference on Thursday, October 22nd at PNC Park featuring keynote speaker Dr. Melvin Gravely II from the Institute of Entrepreneurial Thinking. Dr. Gravely has written several books including “The Lost Art of Entrepreneurship,” “When Black and White Make Green,” and his most recent, “Getting to the Next Level.”
The conference planning committee recently held its kick-off meeting and plans for this outstanding event are well underway. WPDI members who are interested in volunteering to serve on the conference committee should contact WPDIpittsburgh@gmail.com.
