Website Accessibility – A Users Perspective

Nearly 20% of Americans have some form of disability. While some websites are very easy to navigate, others are built in ways that make them cumbersome and problematic, keeping some users out. Nonprofits would do well to consider website accessibility in terms of their clients, staff, board members, donors, and volunteers.

Learn to improve the website experience for users with disabilities by working with the most common assistive technology tools for the Internet, including screen readers, magnifiers and devices for those who cannot use a traditional mouse and keyboard. The Bayer Center partners with the FISA Foundation to provide this workshop.
