JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Provide marketing support for the PSO’s five subscription campaigns: BNY Mellon Grand Classics, PNC Pops, Fiddlesticks Family Concerts series at Heinz Hall and partnership series at West Virginia University and New Castle. Provide administrative support to the Audience Development & Sales Department. Reports to the Assistant Director of Subscription Marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Assistant Director of Subscription Marketing to retain and grow subscribers and subscription revenue of over $4 million. This will include:
- Writing copy and managing production for direct mail materials
- Writing letters
- Coordinating mailings
- Assisting with media campaigns
- Creating email blasts
- Working at subscriber retention events
- Representing the PSO and AD&S at meetings and events when needed
- Researching promotional opportunities with a focus on the Fiddlesticks Family Concerts series
Work with the Vice President of Audience Development & Sales to support the department as needed. This will include:
- Managing and recording invoices
- Updating CRM database
- Ordering office supplies
- Maintaining files
- Managing ticket requests and information requests
- Managing departmental mail
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in marketing and/or communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Extensive computer skills
- Ability and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and/or weekends when necessary
- Knowledge of Tessitura is a plus
